The fact that most of ishimura, like 97% of it is dead and you either find people losing their sanity and doing very disgusting stuff and killing themselves or getting killed by necrmorphs, its like mechanical hell. The feeling of being in a spaceship that at first seems abandoned only for you to find bodies, blood in places with some ''alien'' writing in the walls and others saying crazy stuff, the bodies in the floor completely brutalized while you go deeper and deeper while also experiencing hallucinations and slowly find how everything went to hell (the hallucinations, the riots with crazy homicidal maniacs and then the necromorphs). The metal sounds of the machines, the steam, the sounds of something inside the vents and a very very low sound of voices saying something.
You can say that the atmopshere is an enemy itself. It kicks off when engineer Isaac Clarke is dispatched on a repair mission aboard the USG Ishimura, where. The atmosphere tho, that is dead space 1 right there, very good! The new 2023 version of Dead Space is a from-the-ground-up remake of the 2008 original.
But i hope that they nail the necromorph themes with the violin, metal sounds and overall an veryyyy intense music.
